    Deployable Mid Frequency Sonar

    This sonar system could be deployed (from a ship or helicopter) in the area of interest to detect submarines. It gives a 3D plot of the environment. The vertical transmitter consists of a stack of free-flooded-ring transducers (f = 1.9 KHz) and could be steered in the vertical. The horizontal receiving arrays are movable (in the vertical) attached to the transmitter.
